His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, confirmed, on the occasion of the success of the Hope Probe reaching Mars orbit, that the ambition of the United Arab Emirates has no limits, and its blessed endeavours in the service of humanity have been a constant concern since its establishment, as the UAE’s people engrave the name of the country in the history of space.

On this occasion, His Highness Ruler of Sharjah extended congratulations to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and their brothers, their Highnesses, members of the Supreme Council, rulers of the Emirates, the people of the UAE and the peoples of the Arab and Islamic nations.

In a statement on this historic occasion, His Highness said that the ambition of the United Arab Emirates has no limits, and its blessed endeavours to serve humanity have been its primary concern since its union was established 50 years ago from today. 

His Highness continued that for UAE the human being was the focus of its attention and the basis for its development. The UAE realised early on that the best investment is to invest in human minds and capabilities, and UAE’s people have proven that the stakes of the founding leaders were in order. 

His Highness concluded that today UAE’s people raise the flag of the country and Arabs high, as they engrave the name of the United Arab Emirates in the history of space as the first Arab country to reach the Red Planet. His Highness added by praising the arrival of the Hope Probe to the planet Mars, as it will constitute an important historical turning point in the march of science and global knowledge and provide great services to humanity including scientists, researchers and science students from all over the world.
