Sharjah's dreams meet the sky, with projects that take a place amongst the clouds. Hence, the »Rest Area« that was inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, in Khor Fakkan, reflects something of the ambition of the smiling emirate, which did not leave a door to happiness without opening it in front of its citizens who live contentedly under the care of Sultan, assured of their future, which shines every day with projects aimed at the comfort of the people. It is also  adorned with initiatives that transformed the regions of the emirate into paradises for everyone to enjoy and contemplate a beautiful painting that is painted by His Highness. With achievements that did not leave an inch  without a share of Sultan’s civilisation project.

The “Cloud Rest” is a new project of the Ruler of Sharjah that is related to the development and tourism in the city of Khorfakkan. Its implementation at an altitude of 600 meters above sea level did not come out of nowhere. Rather, it carries in its essence a message that His Highness summarized by saying: “If there is a place above, I will take you to it”. How not and the Sultan of hearts has raised the emirate, until it has become an example among cities that combine modernity and civilization in a magical combination whose composition is known only to a man who has taken upon himself the happiness of his children with quality projects, and nourishing their souls with knowledge and good manners..

The smiling emirate has placed itself on the tourism map thanks to the areas that it has been endowed with. These areas have increased its beauty with projects that combine the splendor and purpose of good urbanization. Where there are many destinations to satisfy the desires of those looking for serenity of mind and pleasure among mountains plowed by machines that built roads to ensure easy movement. In order to bring happiness to the community in which Sultan reigned in the hearts of children.

All indications confirm that Sharjah is proceeding with its plans to develop infrastructure, with road networks of high quality specification. In addition to supplying the emirate's regions and cities, with service facilities and tourist sites, to preserve its ecological terrain, to serve its residents.

Every corner in the Sharjah of knowledge has a share of Sultan’s bids, which bears the title of development and preservation of customs, traditions and family cohesion. Moreover, the smiling emirate raises its laughter daily, with a two-story Rest Area that has  a total area of 2788 square meters. Its ground floor includes a restaurant and a cafe that can accommodate 88 people in the interior hall, and 48 on the outside balcony. In addition to a basement that contains a multi-purpose hall that can accommodate 62 people, and a prayer hall for men and another for women, with service and administrative facilities, providing great views of the city of Khorfakkan. Therefore, it  plays a role in the happiness of citizens so that it remains shining with culture and science; a warm embrace where everyone finds peace, comfort and happiness.
