Sultan of the Hearts’ Gesture

A humanitarian and a paternal gesture by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, by announcing the provision of additional monthly grants to his sons and daughters from the citizens of the Emirate of Sharjah who are retired from the federal authorities and other institutions within the Emirates. This fatherly pension is to be deposited in their bank accounts, as of this month, January 2023. Such a gesture is typical of “Sultan of the hearts”.

Starting from Monday - and as His Highness announced - "about 1,000 retirees from federal agencies and other institutions within the UAE will receive the grants from Sharjah’s government, in January 2023. Moreover, 3,500 retirees, will obtain the grants later on.

His Highness had announced the lofty gesture through the “Direct Line” program, broadcasted by Sharjah Radio and Television: “after we raised the pension for old retirees of Sharjah citizens who worked in the emirate’s government, placing them on  a decent living, we are now working to address the conditions of the retirees from ministries and other institutions within the Emirates, as the Department of Social Services provided them with some allowances. However, these were not sufficient, so we decided to present additional monthly grants that will be deposited in their bank accounts, starting from January 2023 as a gift from a father to his sons and daughters”. Hoping that 2023 will be a satisfactory year. As we initiated it with jobs. Citizens will remain dignified in the coming year and all years, Allah’s willing”

"Sultan of the hearts" gestures towards retirees is an extension of our wise leadership's consideration for this group of citizens.  They carry messages of loyalty and appreciation to those who gave in their youth with loyalty, nobility and sacrifice to return the favour to this dear country. The “gifts of the Sultan of hearts” are distinguished by his royal directives in that their allocation does not prevent the citizens of benefiting from the allowances and benefits specified by the ministry or other entities Ensuring the ultimate objective of their happiness is fulfilled. May Allah protect Sultan, bless him with good health and a long life. “Thank you, father Sultan”.
