At the heart of the Sharjah Cultural Project, there is another project called the Cultural Project of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. His Highness's project is based on history, narration, novel and investigation in literature and geography. His Highness’s project is also based on the theatrical material with which he supplemented the Sharjah cultural project, and even with it, the cultural theatrical life in the Emirates.

If theater art is one of the main pillars of the Sharjah cultural project, then the theater of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah strengthens this pillar, and enables Emirati theater to strive, innovate and develop from year to year.

The theater of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah is a regular creative element since the eighties until today. While the Sharjah Cultural Project addresses Arab culture and Arab intellectuals, this project also addresses international culture and the elements, makers and symbols of living cultures in the world. The theater of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah also addresses the world through its living languages ​​that millions around the world read and write in. To exemplify such world role of the theater of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, we refer to the translation of many of its works into English, French, German, Russian, Spanish, Urdu, Hindi and Bengali.

For example, "Holaku's Return" was translated into four languages: Russian in 2005, English in 2016, German in 2004, and Bengali in 2012.

The plays "Mighty Samson" in 2019, “Alexander the Great” in 2006, and "Reality.. A True Copy" in 2004 were rendered into Russian.

The play “The Case” was rendered into three languages: Russian in 2005, German in 2004, and Spanish in 2005. The play “Mighty Samson” was rendered into Urdu in 2009, and the play “The Black Stone” was rendered into Hinduism in 2015, along with other theatrical, narrative and research works that were translated into legible languages ​​of the world.

His Highness, Ruler of Sharjah, addresses the world in the language of art, literature and science. His Highness made the language of theater in particular a cultural bridge in order for the other to know us and knows that we are people of theater, culture and the arts, and through culture we can dialogue, understand and coexist in peace and tranquility.
